A YWCA membership offers you the opportunity to participate in programs for the entire family, and rent meeting rooms at a reduced rate. You will also receive the YWCA newsletters and invitations to all YWCA events.

  1. Call the YWCA Chester County office at (610) 692-3737 and someone will be happy to help you
  2. Print out a membership application form and mail it to the YWCA
  3. Or, just stop in and see us!

Help with one of our programs: Be a counselor in the Summer Enrichment Program, a tutor in TEAM after school program, a speaker for Project Piggy Bank. Help teach women in transition job interview skills, resume writing, computer training. Be a mentor.

Help with our special events. Help find homes or be an in home hostess for the Holiday House Tour. Help with administration. Be a receptionist, help write letters, stuff envelopes, answer questions for those coming to building and more.

Some people become members of the YWCA to participate in a class or join a new group. Others join the YWCA with no intention of participating in a program, but as a contributor to help the YWCA carry out its mission. If you join the YWCA to meet your personal goals, not only are you benefiting yourself, but you are financially supporting our ability to provide for families in this community. Either way, we'd love to welcome you as a proud member of the YWCA!
